Dear Anonymous responders,

This might be a little bit different considering most of the people that I would talk to I know person to person…So to save us the awkward introductions, I would like to start this off by telling you a little bit about myself. I am a student here at Rift Valley Academy Nairobi, Kenya; and this will now be my second year. I love art and singing as my hobbies, but when I grow up I want to be a neurologist/neuroscientist. My parents work in different countries so I do experience that weird disconnect. My mum works as an entrepreneur for fashion, and my dad works as a banker. I have two brothers one who is 19 at the moment, and a twin brother who is sixteen and we’re fraternal twins. Through the past 16 years that I have experience with my two brothers I would definitely say that it is a whole other different experience, described only in two words; frustrating and adventurous. Why adventurous you may wonder, well as living with two brothers is amazing, although it does come with its fair share of emotions. Why frustrating? Well you would probably guess that part because we are on the other hand completely opposite genders. With my spiritual life I am confident to say that I am a believer in Jesus Christ, and yes, I do respect other religions, although I may not believe in other religious practices. To finally conclude this, my name is Amy Gathui and this is a brief story of my life. Now I can fully say that at least you know a little bit about me. I am so excited for this blog chat and I really hope you are to.

 With sincere regards, Amy Gathui
